1. 27. June Revision L2 Graphing 2 and Sequences & Series 1 [2021]
We continued our Revision with Graphing Techniques, covering Transformations, with some rounding up of the chapter. These included the Modulus graphs, as well as the Reciprocal graph ( 1/f(x) ). While the modulus graphs are straightforward, do make sure that your recognise which type it is. The reciprocal graph, however, is very process driven. Do get very comfortable with the process and keep using it consistently to achieve mastery. Moving on with Arithmetic and Geometric Progressions, we recapped the basics and applied them to some simple problems. Let us note that while the formulae are easy to use, the contexts and the types of equation given can add significantly to the challenge involved. Some GC related things to keep in mind: 1) Keep an eye out if exact values are required 2) Unknown integers are best managed by GC Table 3) Are you proficient with using graphs to solve for equations
